Camp LT: Kindergarten - Grade 3

Sundays 10:00 - 11:30 AM

We will meet in-person outside in our Garden or inside LT and Shira/Tefillah (music and singing) will take place on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm.

If it is not possible to be in-person, we will meet online and Shira/Tefillah will take place then (on Sundays).

Whether online or in-person, Camp LT Kindergarten - Grade 3 learners experience community building and engaging Jewish learning activities every week. Our Kindergarten - Grade 3 learners learn about being a mensch ( a good person), Shabbat, holidays, Torah stories, Israel, Jewish music and prayers and more. Families come together 1-2 times per year for experiential programs with their children. During "normal" times, our Camp LT K - 3 learners join together on Sunday mornings from 10 am - 12 noon.

LT Explores: Grade 4: Mondays + Wednesdays

Mondays: In-Person Learning  3:30 - 5:00 PM
We will meet in-person in our Garden or inside LT. If it is not possible to be in-person, we will meet online.

Wednesdays: ONLINE Hebrew and Tefillah: 3:30 - 4:30 or 4:00 - 5:00 PM
All Grade 4 Hebrew and Tefillah will take place ONLINE ALL YEAR on Wednesdays for one hour.

Your child will be scheduled for either 3:30 – 4:30 pm or 4 – 5 pm (with a grade-wide online Tefillah at 4 pm).

Because of limited space and physical distancing measures, this schedule differs from the original plan made this past Spring that gave a choice between Sundays and Mondays for Grade 4’s learning day. In the event that we find that there is indeed space on Sundays for a Grade 4 group, we will keep those families who registered for Sundays on a waitlist.

Whether online or in-person, Grade 4 learners experience community building and engaging Jewish learning activities every week and focus upon middot - Jewish values (with a special attention given this year to living during COVID-times), Jewish holidays, Hebrew Prayer decoding, interpreting Torah stories, electives, Israel, and learning the Friday night Shabbat service at our weekly Tefillah prayer service. Every other year, Grade 4 learners join with the Grade 5 community for a retreat up at the URJ Eisner Camp. During "normal" times, our Grade 4 learners join together on Sundays OR Mondays AND Wednesdays and join with the Grades 4 - 6 community in our LT Explores program where we offer specialties such as drama, art, music, sci-tech, Israel and more.
