Covid Protocols for Congregants and Visitors

1. Services including B’nei Mitzvahs—

  • All attendees 12 and over must be fully vaccinated. *
  • B’nei Mitzvahs’ families must inform attendees of vaccine requirements.
  • All attendees at services must wear masks at all times (except when speaking at Bima) during services and when moving around the building and grounds.

​​​​​​​2. Events with food Sponsored by Temple—

  • Onegs must be held outside, and all attendees 12 and over must be fully vaccinated. *
  • Cocktail style events must be held outside, and all attendees must be fully vaccinated.
  • Seated events may be held inside, and all attendees must be fully vaccinated.


3. Events with food sponsored by Temple members and third parties—

  • While compliance with rules for Temple sponsored events is strongly encouraged, Host may establish own guidelines so long as no less restrictive than government guidelines.
  • All vendors must be fully vaccinated.


4. Temple Programs and adult education—

  • All attendees 12 and over must be fully vaccinated. *
  • All attendees must wear masks at all times except that (i) at outdoor events, and (ii) with unanimous consent of attendees, indoor events with fewer than 18 fully vaccinated attendees, host shall have option to make masks optional. 
     

5. Rules of General applicability—

  • All attendees/visitors shall complete Covid self-assessment and comply with assessment.
  • At all times when moving around Temple buildings attendees/visitors must wear masks. 

N.B. Services and events will be limited in size to prevent overcrowding. Temple will communicate in a timely fashion what protocol is applicable for each event.

*For 12-year old’s we understand they may need 60 days after their birthday to meet the requirement. This requirement for 12 – 15 year-olds will not go into effect until Nov 1, 2021.

Note:  LT reserves the right to change, reverse, or tighten restrictions at any time, in order to comply with guidelines or best practices or to protect the public health and the wellbeing of our community.
