Adam Tanenbaum, Music & Youth Coordinator
Adam Tanenbaum grew up in Maryland just outside of Washington, D.C. and attended Indiana University where he focused on Jewish Studies and Non-Profit Management. Growing up as a participant and staff member in various URJ Youth Programs, Adam has always had a love for Jewish communal work. He spent all four years of high school active in his local youth group and NFTY-MAR, 14 summers at URJ Henry S. Jacobs Camp, and two at URJ Kutz Camp. For nearly a decade Adam has been a professional songleader and program facilitator, spending time with dozens of congregations along the East Coast, Mid-West, and Southern United States. In 2013 and 2014 Adam spent 6 months with a Progressive Synagogue in San Jose, Costa Rica teaching, studying, and leading their music program followed by a year working for the Union for Progressive Judaism (Australia’s equivalent to the URJ), traveling the entire country to help their small Reform communities strengthen their youth and music programs.
Adam is incredibly excited to be going into his second year here at Larchmont Temple, and can’t wait to continue to build upon last year’s successes in LarFTY, LTRS, and more!
Adam can be reached by calling the Temple office or by e-mail email@example.com.
